365 #8 {Half term}

Finally, a week of lie ins and no packed lunches.
Just the one appointment with the dentist and we had a free week to fill at our leisure.
And the sun actually shone - occasionally.

Day 47
A glorious day spent at Dyrham Park near Bath where the children ran free with a friend and the mums enjoyed cream teas. There's some more lovely pics of the park  here.
Day 48
Dentist day. Everyone got the thumbs up. We walked through the older part of town to get there via the post office where we dropped off birthday cards and the latest letter to the pen pal.
Day 49
A quick trip to the park. The boy was happy as he was safe on the roundabout getting a break from big sister and friend tormenting him. Girls. One day he'll like the attention.
Day 50
We walked around the village to get some fresh air before going to see Lego Movie - which I highly recommend. We saw these flowers for sale. Annoyingly I had no money on me. I rather fancied the 20p daffodils.
Day 51
I was rummaging in the loft for some work bits and came across a box of the husband's childhood toys. They kept the kiddies busy for a while.
Day 52
A rare afternoon with the just the boy today so obviously lego was involved. We made a lego marble maze before attacking the Star Wars collection.
Day 53
Today we were torn between getting out in the sunshine or tackling the garden. The garden won. I spent a good hour digging over the mud at the bottom ready for new vegetable plots and new fencing. That's the plan anyway. Still loads to do and really hoping for more of this sunshine.

Looks like a good half term week, ours are on holiday now but were at school most of last week. The snowdrops are beautiful. I *ahem* the kids can't wait to see the lego movie! Can't wait to see what your plans are for the garden.

  6. Sounds like you've had a good half term - I love the photos especially Dyram Park, that is a wonderful post. Well done having a go with the garden, we've not started yet!

Love the photo of Dyrham Park. We did the Lego Movie this week too (is there anyone who DIDN'T do the Lego Movie this week?!).

  9. i love the snow drop photo we saw lots of those at Arlingotn Court yesterday, and actually for a moment from the angle in which you took the phoot, i thought it was the same place! I also love the textures, colours and 'feel' of the back street photo. Sounds like you enjoyed a lovely week off from the normal school week and how wonderful to have seen some sunshine :) x x

  10. we did not lol x

  11. Isnt it just typical, find a bargain and have no money on ya?! I'm forever doing that!

  16. got to love Lego (and the movie although I'll be glad when that song is out of my head!)
Love the outdoor photos this week and I hope you get some more sun very soon x

  17. Some lovely shots this week. I particularly like the snowdrops and the older part of town pictures.

  18. Isn't it lovely seeing the snow drops at this time of year!
My favourite shot is the one of the back street. Great lighting effect.

  19. Stunning pictures!! Love the snowdrops!

like the home made marble maze, and its amazing how the old toys are the best. I like the bricks in the walls. Our garden needs a lot of work as well.

  21. A great set of photos! The snowdrops are very pretty

  22. I flipping love that top photograph! Love the wonderfully old building and the regimented lines of it, against the fresh and irregularity of the snowdrops. Also love the leading path of the second photo. And the farm toy photo. And the bottom photo with the promise of a wonderfully green garden! They're all pretty fab!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
