The B&W Photography Project no. 8

Brewery Wall

Brewery Wall // 76sunflowers
The old brewery at Lacock Abbey holds many surprises.
As the sun shone through the lead paned window, casting shadows on the walls, etchings from the past made themselves clear; names, dates, symbols to ward of witchcraft.
These walls hold history within them.
These walls hold history upon them.

  1. oh just fabulous, you have written about it so wonderfully too!

  2. Love the window bars and the shadows they create

  3. What an awesome discovery! I love it so much in black and white.

  4. Grace says - I love that you've managed to photo the writing on the wall. How interesting. I bet there's a great story behind them. The window frame also makes a great pattern on the wall with the shadows too. #bwphotoproject

  5. I am intrigued by this and the writing but I am loving the shadows on the wall from the window frame. #bwphotoproject Commenting obo Wicked World of Lucas
